Common questions

Frequently asked

What counts as project cargo?

Anything that does not fit standard container handling: out-of-gauge machinery, heavy-lift items, plant relocations, and shipments needing route surveys, permits or specialised lifting equipment.

How far in advance should project cargo be planned?

Earlier than most people expect. Route surveys, permits, escorts and equipment booking commonly need several weeks — and the survey often changes the plan, so involving us early usually saves both cost and time.

Do you supervise loading and discharge?

Yes. Experienced project staff supervise loading, lashing, discharge and final positioning, and we document each stage for your records and insurers.
